How good is this tablet Tipstir? I have not placed my hands on one of these yet.

That one is brand spanking new not even out yet. le pan 2 is out you might want consider that one it has 8GB NAND storage so that's about 2GB for the OS which leaves you 6GB for programs so that's kinda pushing it. I do recommend 16GB for NAND which is plenty of storage leaving you 14GB for storage. If you want you can get a Toshiba Thrive for $307 new or used one for $289 to $299. Which is 16GB and 1GB of RAM dual core etc. Le pan 2 is not 16GB storage, 4:3 | 9.7 @ 1024x768 vs 16:9 | 10.1 @ 1280x800 is better. I enjoy my two thrives they weren't cheap but they do come in handy where there is more than one in the house that always seems to grab it from me! LOL! I had to get another one!

I have the Acer a500 fully updated and running smoothly. 16 internal, 32 sd and 32 usb stick i use for movie storage. Very nice unit, I am always looking into new tablets for people at work. Trying to keep an open mind about cheap tablets. The Thrive is a very sexy tablet, have now 2 co workers that I have setup. Very much enjoy working with the Thrive. Looking more or less just to keep abreast of new devices..

Just have to wait and see what's coming down the pike.. Thrive is fun to use. You can get the matching Toshiba Bluetooth laser mouse and Toshiba Bluetooth keyboard. I was impress the way the mouse was so responsive to my movements. Of course both are not cheap, but worth the price.
